Don't expect the Ritz-Carlton but expect to be treated like it is! Iys an older place but still well maintained. Very pleasant and caring management full of kindness and compassion. Rooms were average size and have all the same amenities at other high priced chains. Mattresses were new and comfy, air was cold. The manager and her family were extremely kind and generous considering we were displaced at 3am on the first night of our vacation. We were unable to find anyone to answer phones in this city at all so we decided to rest in our car until 8am when they opened. The manager allowed us an early check in so we could get rest. UNLIKE THE RETREAT AT CENTER HILL WHO TOLD US IF WE WANTED TO CHECK IN AT 8AM WE WOULD HAVE TO PAY $200 FOR THE ENTIRE PREVIOUS NIGHT AS WELL AS $200 FOR THAT DAY AND $200 EACH ADDITIONAL DAY. MEANWHILE THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE SOME KIND OF CHRISTIAN RETREAT CENTER. NOT A VERY CHRISTIAN PLACE. BUT thanks to The Bridgeway Motel we were blessed. And Later that evening we chatted and our kids loved playing with theirs and we made new friends. A very down home feeling. I highly recommend for the compassion this place has.

The furniture was old, but the room, beds and bath were clean; the beds were very comfortable. The curtains and bedspreads like new. The staff were very courteous and friendly. Another plus: no pets are allowed. Convenient to street but set back enough so there was no traffic noise. A very good family restaurant next door.

We stayed a few days as a group of family members for a local wedding occupying four (4) rooms and had a great time. The rooms were clean and although the furniture was dated it was very comfortable. It was a hot August and the air conditioner worked fantastic. The Diner next door was a great place for all of us to meet at meal time and served god food at a really reasonable price. The Motel is set back from the main road so we were never bothered by the traffic noise. A great deal for the price!

Part of our extended family from out of state needed accommodations that were not only close to the rest of our family that live here locally, but also very important to them, was that the place be clean and free of bugs. It also needed to be reasonably priced, due to the fact that we're weren't sure if they might need to stay on multiple days. The motel room we asked to see was in fact very clean, free of bugs. The room was in fact very reasonably priced, and the staff that was on duty when they checked in, were very helpful, friendly and gave them exact directions to the funeral home . "Thank You for Five Star Service"...
